BERTHA BROUCHOUD
Mrs. Richard Brouchoud, 83, of Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc, died
Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot.
Her son, the Rev. Earl Brouchoud, will officiate in a con-celebrated
Mass. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.
Mrs. Brouchoud, nee Bertha Ellerman, was born Feb. 14, 1888, at Kaukauna,
daughter of the late Henry and Bertha Ploeckman Ellerman. She was married
to Richard Brouchoud June 9, 1909, at Holy Cross Church. The couple
resided in Mishicot until 19__, moving to Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Marvin and Archie of Manitowoc,
Rev. Earl Brouchoud, pastor of St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers,
and Eugene of Milwaukee; a brother Emil of Two Rivers; four sisters, Mrs.
Amanda Ladwig and Mrs. Jake Mraz of Manitowoc, Mrs. Louise Sloan of Quincy,
Ill., and Mrs. Nora Olson of Milwaukee; nine grandchildren and 12 great-
grandchildren. A son and two daughters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday where a
memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
