Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 1997, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Concelebrating the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. William Zimmer and Rev. Carl Meulemans. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.
He was born July 10, 1924, in the town of Gibson, Manitowoc County, son of the late Richard and Bertha Ellerman Brouchoud. He graduated with the Class of 1941 from Mishicot High School. He served overseas in England during World War II with the United States Army. Eugene married Cyrilla (Sally) Duenkel on May 16, 1953, in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death in September of 1980. He was employed by the Adams Company of Green Bay and Milwaukee and retired from the American Cancer Society of Milwaukee after 25 years of service and returned to Manitowoc in 1987.
Survivors include one brother, Rev. Earl R. Brouchoud, Manitowoc; an aunt, Mrs. Margaret (Jake) Mraz, Manitowoc; three stepdaughters, Geraldine Kanzelberger, Manitowoc, Shirley Wall, Northridge, Calif., Darlene LeFevre, Brazil; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a special cousin, Shirley Richards, Manitowoc. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Irvin, Marvin, and Archie; two sisters, Louella and Mary Alice.
Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of service.
