Mark Brouchoud, age 87, formerly of 416 Park Lane, Mishicot, died Saturday, January 18, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 1997, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Rev. John Neuser will officiate with burial in Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery, Mishicot.
He was born April 21, 1909, in Mishicot, son of the late Joseph and Julia (Rouillier) Brouchoud and has been a lifelong Mishicot area resident. He graduated from Mishicot High School in 1926, and married the former LaVerne Hansen at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers on September 28, 1935. Mr. Brouchoud was employed by the Hamilton Manufacturing Co., Wood Plant as a superintendent until his retirement. He served as past president of the Mishicot Lion's Club and was a member of the Hamilton Good Fellowship Club, the Hamilton Management Club, and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Brouchoud proudly served as Village President of Mishicot from 1957 to 1967. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerne; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and John Collins, Green Bay, Mary Lee and Richard Konitzer, Manitowoc; two grandchildren, James (Michelle) Collins, Lorrie (Doug) Kauffman: four great grandchildren, Mark and Anna Collins, Marty and Andy Kauffman; one sister, Lucy Graycarek, Mishicot; nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Bernard Brouchoud.
Friends may call at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until leaving the funeral mass.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
