Caroline "Carol" Ann (Campbell) O'Dowd of Pembroke, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016, loving mother of Caroline (Tim) of Pembroke, Richard (Becky) of Hanover, Kelly (Mike) of Pembroke, Tracy Marani (David) of Halifax and Jason (Rebecca) of Plymouth. Wife of Richard O'Dowd and loving Dramma to Brian Patrick, Jacqueline and her husband Jake, Kelly Ann, Ryan, Marissa Caroline, Emily, John, Alexander,Joe, David IV, Maggie, Elizabeth Caroline, Hannah and Jacob.

Carol was the daughter of the late Alexander and Caroline (Steele) and was predeceased by her siblings, Al Jr., Lorraine, John, Walter and Bobby. Survived by her sisters-in-law, Mary, Eileen and NancyLee Campbell. Carol was the proud aunt to many nieces and nephews, She was also a dear friend of Richard Jackson and the Queensbrook Ladies.

Carol was raised in Dorchester and moved to Pembroke to raise her family in 1968. Carol dedicated her life to her family and lived every day filled with love and pride for her family.

Her greatest enjoyment was being a "Dram" and loving each grandchild in a special way with a bit of magic and sugar that only she could give.

Carol enhanced the lives of many students in her career at Cardinal Cushing School in Hanover. After leaving she continued her "work" baking her famous cookies or pastries and making quilts for charities, hockey tournaments or for no reason other than to make someone feel loved. Her legacy continues in everything that she touched. She was honored to contribute to Pembroke Military Support and The Herren Project for the sunshine these charities brought to her life.

Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St, at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in Hanson on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. There will be a service in the Funeral Home on Thursday at 10 AM, followed by burial at Center Cemetery in Pembroke.
