On May 26, 2016 Pat McKernan passed away at the age of 88 years. Pat was born in Castor Alberta, the third eldest of eleven. He never forgot the life lessons learned during the Depression Years on the prairie.
Pat immigrated to Cupertino in 1964 with his young family and has been a resident ever since while working as an electrical contractor.
Pat was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Bennington, his parents, mother Katherine (nee Blackman), and father Francis; brothers James and Thomas and sisters Jean, Theresa and Geraldine.
He is survived by his wife Rosemarie (nee Butti), his sons Daniel (Joan), Christopher (Helen) and his daughter AnnaMarie Inman (Mark Kilchenmann). Grandchildren, Timothy, Gregory and Kent McKernan. Theodore and Drew Inman. Brian, Michael and Christopher Bennington.
Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, at 10:00 am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 22555 Cristo Rey Drive, Los Altos. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local pet shelter in memory of Pat McKernan.
