Bon­nie Louise Lohmeyer, (nee Barker) peace­fully left this world sur­rounded by her lov­ing fam­ily on June 1,2016. Blessed with a quiet and sooth­ing de­meanor, Bon­nie was dearly loved by her fam­ily, many friends and as­so­ci­ates. Born in Toledo, Ohio, she grad­u­ated from Waite High School in 1967, and mar­ried Eu­gene Lohmeyer in 1968.

Bon­nie and Eu­gene raised a lov­ing fam­ily and pur­sued many hob­bies to­gether in­clud­ing bowl­ing, com­put­ers, and watch­ing Nascar. Bon­nie de­vel­oped a wide range of com­puter skills well be­fore the tech “ex­plo­sion” and was able to ap­ply them to her var­i­ous jobs as a school ad­min­is­tra­tor, and data en­try spe­cial­ist. Later in life, Bon­nie and Eu­gene re­lo­cated to Dothan, Al­abama, where she reac­quainted her­self with Je­sus Christ and be­came de­vout and ded­i­cated parish­ioner at St Columba Catholic Church.

Al­ways ac­tive, Bon­nie and Eu­gene en­joyed trav­el­ing to visit friends and fam­ily in Florida, North Car­olina, Geor­gia and some­times re­turn­ing home to Toledo, Ohio.

Bon­nie was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents George & Shirley, and her brother, George Jr. Bon­nie is sur­vived by her lov­ing hus­band of forty eight years Eu­gene, daugh­ters Genevieve (Bobby), Mar­garet (Philip), son Gene (Christina), her brother Larry and sis­ter Jackie.

Among her many lov­ing grand­chil­dren, nieces and nephews in­cluded are; Jef­fery, Alexis, Nicholas, Zoe, Ava, Joshua, Charles (Kait­tye, Kolton, Collin) and An­drew. Bon­nie touched many lives be­cause of her con­sis­tent courage, con­vic­tion(s), and de­ter­mi­na­tion. She will be dearly missed.

A Memo­r­ial Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Fri­day, June 3, 2016 at St. Columba Catholic Church with Fa­ther Patrick Gal­lagher of­fi­ci­at­ing. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thurs­day at the fu­neral home with a prayer ser­vice at 7:00 p.m.
