She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and worked as a seamstress and in Dietary Services at Itawamba County Hospital.
There will be a private family service.
Her survivors include her son, Tommy (Angela) Black of Red Bay, Ala.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Ezell Wood of Jackson; and a niece and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charlie Black.
Public visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Senter Funeral Home.
