PETER ENGELDINGER

Peter E. Engeldinger, 47, of 1919 Wentker Lane, town of Mishicot, entered into
eternal rest on Sunday, May 16, 2004, at his residence, surrounded by his loving
family and friends, after a brief illness with cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2004,
at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Holy Redeemer Site in Two Rivers,
with the Rev. William O'Brien officiating, with burial to follow in the Holy Cross
Catholic Church Cemetery, in Mishicot.
Peter was born Feb. 28, 1957, in Two Rivers to Robert and Alice Buvid Engeldinger,
and has been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of the Mishicot High
School, and married the former Kathleen Moore at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in
Two Rivers on June 29, 1996. Peter was employed as a group leader for the Wood
Plant Division of Fisher-Hamilton Manufacturing Co. in Two Rivers. He celebrated
25 years of employment March 21, 2003, and retired Dec. 1, 2003, because of his
illness. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Holy Redeemer
Site in Two Rivers, and the Mishicot Pool League for many years. He enjoyed hunting,
fishing, NASCAR racing, and was an excellent cook. He is survived by his wife, Kathy;
his children: Stacy Engeldinger, Jason Engeldinger, both of Valders, and Jenna
Engeldinger at home; his mother: Alice Engeldinger, of Mishicot; one brother: Jim
Engeldinger of Two Rivers; and one sister and brother-in-law: Sandy and Joe Campion
of Mishicot. He is further survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Thomas
and Maryann Moore of Two Rivers; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Joe and Kelly
Scheuer of Mishicot and by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many
special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Engeldinger, Feb. 4,
1995.
Relatives and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lambert-
Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot. There will be a 7:30 p.m., parish wake service,
led by Father Bill Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation will continue
after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Holy
Redeemer Site in Two Rivers, until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.
A memorial fund has been established in his name. The Engeldinger family wishes to
extend a very special thank you to Dr. Andrew Yetter and his entire staff at the
Lombardi Cancer Center in Manitowoc, for their love, care, and support shown to
Peter and our family during Peter's brief illness.
