She was born October 23, 1921 in Menomonie, WI to Carl and Effie Scheel. She grew up in Menomonie and graduated from high school in 1938.
Agnes was united in marriage to Gilbert Harvey on February 4th, 1943, and in their 52 years of marriage they had 3 children. She was a homemaker for her family and enjoyed gardening, cross stitching, baking, and fishing with her husband. Many will remember Gib and Aggie’s fish fry’s at their home throughout the years. After Gib’s retirement, they enjoyed spending time with their two granddaughters.
She will always be remembered for her generosity and the loving nature she shared with her friends and family.
Agnes is survived by her sons, Allen (Sandra) Harvey of Cable, WI, and Steve (Lynn) Harvey of Colfax, WI; daughter , Audrey Eiseth of Menomonie, WI; granddaughters, Taliah Eiseth and Haley (Mitchell) Booth; and great-grandson Graham Eiseth.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gilbert, brothers Gearld and Dennis, and sisters Laville Harrington, Eleanor Larson, and Francis Lerch.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8th, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Menomonie with Pastor Kristine Stedje officiating. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
