Can anyone confirm that Elizabeth is really buried at the Burnetts Creek (Old Burnettsville) Cemetery, at Burnettsville, Jackson Township, White County, Indiana? Her husband, Jonathan Amick (1809-1878) who died sixteen years previous to Elizabeth is buried there and I assume Elizabeth is also, though perhaps in an unmarked grave.

Elizabeth Rothrock was the ninth of ten known children of Joseph Rothrock (1775 (or 1776?)-1848) and his first wife, Nancy (went by Anna) (last name unknown) (1772-1822) who married c1793 in presumably Pennsylvania. After Anna died, Joseph remarried to the widow Barbara Palmer Sell (1777-1867), but had no known additional children.

Elizabeth married Jonathan Amick (1809-1878) on 23 Aug 1832 at Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth and Jonathan were the parents of twelve known children, namely:

1. Joseph Amick (1834-1915)
2. Daniel B. Amick (1836-1920)
3. Julia Ann Amick Strohm (1837-1918)
4. Sarah Amick (1840-1852)
5. Isaac Amick (1842-1908)
6. Abraham Amick (1844-1854)
7. Anna Amick Showalter (1845-1921)
8. Howard Hensel Amick/Amich (1847-1916)
9. Susanna Maria Amick Anthony Bartow (1849-1905)
10. Thomas Martin Amick (1852-1922)
11. Asenath Amick (1854-1909)
12. Adaline Amick Chilcott (1857-1894)

In 1850 the family was living at Derry Township, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania with the parents and first nine children. In 1860 the family was living at Derry Township, P.O. Lewistown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania with the parents and children: Julia, Isaac, Anna, Howard, Mary, Martin Asenath and Adaline. The family then moved to White County, Indiana in 1862. In 1870 the parents, Mary, Martin, Asenath and Adaline were living at Burnettsville Township, White County, Indiana. In 1880 the widow Elizabeth and single daughter Asenath were living with Elkizabeth's married daughter, Adaline Amick Chilcott at Cass County, Indiana. When son Joseph died in 1915 the children Daniel, Anna, Howard, Thomas M. and Asenath (sic) were still reported as living.

Links to Elizabeth's parents, husband, all of her twelve known children and six of her nine known siblings are included below.
