Age 44, passed away suddenly Friday, June 3, 2016 along with her loving husband Travis. Amy was born March 17, 1972 in Ann Arbor, MI, the daughter of Richard and MaryJo (Hyck) Swan. She was a 1990 graduate of Saline High School. She then graduated from Central Michigan University. Amy worked in marketing for HORIBA International Corp. in Ann Arbor. Amy was a member of the Patriot Law Dogs M.C. She was an avid U of M fan. Amy had a close bunch of lifelong friends that meant the world to her. Survivors include: one daughter Kate; father Richard (Betsy) Swan; one sister Deanna (Sean) Parkinson; brother David (Renee) Swan; three nieces, Holly Wright, Carlee and Nicole Swan; nephew Owen Swan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her mother MaryJo. There will be a memorial service for Amy and Travis at 11 am Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Stony Creek United Methodist Church, 8635 Stony Creek, Ypsilanti. Memorial donations for Kate’s education fund may be made to Randall Gaiser. Envelopes are available at Stark Funeral Service where family will receive friends 5-9 pm Monday and at the church from 10 am until time of service Tuesday.
