Reuben A. Moore, 63, formerly of Rockcastle County, died at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia on Wednesday, February 18, 1998 following an illness. He was a Rockcastle County native born December 20, 1934, the son of the late Tom and Matilda Miller Moore. He was a retired Westinghouse employee, veteran of the US Army, and member of the Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors are two sisters, Dorothy Gabbard and Georgia Blair, both of Berea and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
No public services. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
Reppert Funeral Home was in Charge of arrangements.
