'Louise' Fitzgerald 86, of Wichita Falls, Texas, formerly of Abilene, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006 in a Wichita Falls Care Center, after a long illness.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at North's Memorial Chapel with John Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel, under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange St.
She was born Margaret Louise Addison on June 14, 1920, in Merkel, Texas. She married William 'Earl' Fitzgerald in 1941. They had one daughter, Sandra Louise Fitzgerald. Her husband was a career military man and they lived in Germany, Japan, and other states in the US. Upon retiring from the military, Earl moved his family to Utah, where they lived for many years. They moved to Abilene, Texas in 1987 where she made many new friends and felt close to her home of Merkel.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Earl.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Reynolds and
husband Dale of Austin, Texas, grand-daughter; Lizbeth Polinsky and great-grandchildren; Ariel and Garrett. One sister; Ann Horton of Wichita Falls.
