Prayerfully surrounded by his loving family, on June 2, 2016 at the age of 58. Of Gloucester City.

Loving and devoted husband of 34 years to Nancy M. Arey (nee Cox). Loving father of Sarah, Patrick, Jr., Grace, Nicholas and Betsy Arey. Cherished grandfather of Hannah, Nathan, Mary, Isabella and Thomas. Beloved son of Marion Yeager (nee Conley) and the late Henry L. Arey, Jr. Dear brother of Theresa, Michael, Gerald, John, Kim, Dawn, Scott, Kevin, Kathleen, Hans and Lori-Ann. Predeceased by his sister, Robin. Also survived by his favorite mother in law, Sally Cox, brothers in law, Ray "RJ" and Joe, father in law, Ray Cox(Bobbie Ann), his foster son, Michael Bailey (Jennifer), and many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and "the guys," especially his "wings night" buddies.

A 1978 graduate of Billerica High School, MA, Patrick proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Patrick has worked as a service technician for many years, most recently with Copiers Plus. He also gave years of service to DRBA as a toll collector and made numerous friends while working for Wawa. Patrick enjoyed Boy Scouting when the children were young. He has shared his passion for cars and movies with all of his children. Patrick was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, where he was confirmed in 1997. He was a friendly and gentle man, always willing to go out of his way to lend a helping hand to anyone.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday, June 9th from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM in the church. Interment with Military Honors in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown will be private.
