BOARDMAN, Ore. Theodore "Ted" Waite Jr., 62, of Boardman, Ore., died Feb. 3, 2016, in Kennewick, Wash.
Memorial service will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2016, at the Episcipal Church of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. June 20 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.
Ted was retired military and was stationed at Fort Sill from 1986 to 1992. He received a bachelor of science degree at Cameron University in Lawton, with a dual major of sociology and psychology, in 1994. He worked at ASCOG (Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments) as an employment and training counselor in Lawton from 1994 to 1998.
Ted is survived by his wife of more than 41 years, Emily; and his two children and their families: son, Michael, his wife Jennifer and their daughter Clare of Boise, Idaho; and daughter, Tamara and her wife Jennifer of Peoria, Ill. He also has a sister Kathy and her husband William of Clovis, N.M.; Barbara and her husband Tom of Buckeye, Ariz.; a brother Rick and his wife Donna of Lubbock, Texas; and three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and their spouses; and 22 nieces and nephews.
Ted and his wife, Emily, were members of the Episcopal Church of Wichita Falls, Texas, while living in Texas, prior to their move to Oregon last year.
