Agnes Marie Hendren

Agnes Marie Hendren, age 81, formerly of Warsaw, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Sunday Evening, February 24, 2013. She was a resident of Woodcrest Manor Care Center in Elsmere, Kentucky.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Jefferson and Mary Belle McNeely Hendren. She leaves her aunt, Mabel Lucas, cousins, Larry Lucas, Nancy Hampton, Roland McNeely, Margie Rider and Mariam Louise Cobertson.

Agnes was a graduate of Gallatin County High School, the College of Music of Cincinnati (now known as: University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music), and attended Cumberland College (now known as University of the Cumberlands). She served over 40 years as the organist of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati. A Baldwin piano demonstrator, Miss Hendren taught piano and organ at the Baldwin Piano Company. She also taught piano in the Cincinnati Public Schools and in the Gallatin County School System as well as private lessons.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 27, 2013 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Thursday. Burial will be in the Napoleon IOOF Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Napoleon IOOF Cemetery.
