Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 1998, at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot. Rev. John Neuser will officiate. Mr. Grenier's body will be donated to the University of Wisconsin Medical School, with his cremated remains buried at Mishicot Public Cemetery.
Julius was born October 31, 1922, in Two Rivers, son of the late Lesime and Laura Carriveau Grenier, and has been a lifelong area resident. Mr. Grenier owned and operated dairy and cash crop farms in the town of Two Rivers and Mishicot for many years and was a red worm farmer. He married the former Helen Rose Sehloff on January 9, 1943, at St. Marks Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He was a member of the Mishicot Co-op.
Julius is survived by his wife, Helen Rose; one daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Steve Haimann, Lake Geneva; one son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Bonnie Grenier, South Milwaukee; 6 grandchildren; one brother and sisters-in-law, William and Carol Grenier, Sun Prairie, Rose Grenier, Mishicot, Lorraine Komorowski, Manitowoc, Ann Grenier, Green Bay; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Marie Brenner, Waunakee, Doris Zuehlke, Green Bay, Norma Klein, rural Manitowoc, Robert Zellner, Waunakee. He was also preceded in death by six infant children; three brothers, Lawrence, Robert and Edmund Grenier; three sisters, Violet Tadych, Erma Hetue and Donna Zellner.
Friends may call after 10 a.m on Thursday at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, until the time of service. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation.
