Mary Ann Wyatt married David Shaw on 4 Dec 1823 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. In a letter from (her son-in-law) T.R. Marshall to his son J.C. he says that Mary Ann's brothers included Alexander & Solomon and that other relatives included Reuben & L.D. Wyatt. We note that these are all sons of Solomon Wyatt.

Based on the Censuses of 1830 (for David) and 1840 (for Mary Ann-David must not be around) we find the following children:
1. A female; b. 1825-1830 -- this is Hannah Jane
2. A male; b. 1830
3. A male; b. 1825-1830
4. A female; b. 1830-1835
5. A female; b. 1835-1840
6. A female; b. 1835-1840
7. A male; b. 1835-1840

[Changed 7/26/21] Since her father , Solomon, was listed in the 1800 tax list for Franklin Co, VA and did not move until 1801, she must have been born in Franklin Co, VA (no other birth record has yet been found).
