John H. Allen Dies.
John H. Allen died at the home of his sister near Manchester, Okla., Sept. 21, 1918, of bronchitis. The body was brought to New Albany, his old home, and the funeral was held at the M.E. church yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Geo. Carpenter of this place. Interment was made in the Weakley cemetery.
