William Guse, 63, Route 2, Two Rivers, died at 1:30 a.m. today at
the Two Rivers Municipal Hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the St. John
Lutheran Church in the town of Gibson with the Rev. Henry Pussehl
officiating. Burial will be in the Mishicot cemetery.
The son of the late William and Bertha Kempfert Guse, the deceased
was born on his parents’ farm in 1884. Never having married, Mr.
Guse operated the home farm with his brother Walter following the
retirement of their father about 25 years ago.
Surviving are the brother Walter on the home farm, another brother,
Otto of Two Rivers, and a sister, Mrs. John Ording of Mishicot.
The body may be viewed at the Specht Funeral Home in Mishicot this
evening and until removal to the church at 10 a.m. Friday where it
will lie in state until the time of services Friday afternoon.
