~ ~ ~ ISAAC ALLEN BLEDSOE ~ ~ ~
============================
BIRTH
1829
Isaac Allen Bledsoe was born in Livingston County, Missouri, USA.
MARRIAGE & FATHERHOOD
Isaac Allen Bledsoe married Mary in USA. To this union they were blessed with at least five children.
DEATH
Great Grandpa Isaac Bledsoe was probably interred at Alpaugh Cemetery, as was his child
Nancy "Annie" (Bledsoe) Hamilton.
Alpaugh Cemetery is recorded as having gone DEFUNCT in 1941. All graves were set to be removed in 1941, as the topography of the area had changed drastically, and the land values changed accordingly.
Alpaugh Cemetery had been located on an island, that was no longer an island in the 1940's. There had been a great waterway flowing from at or near Stockton, California to the Tulare area in the 1800's and prior. This was the largest waterway west of the Mississippi.
Prior to the 1940's several dams had been built on various waterways/rivers and tributaries that had fed the great waterway. The great waterway literally disappeared.
It is not known where our ancestors gravesite were removed to. The Tulare Cemetery did NOT receive and reinter his remains.
Isaac's two sons were interred at cemeteries in San Luis Obispo. Family history is that Great Grandpa Isaac and Great Grandma Mary passed away suddenly from a sweeping epidemic (Perhaps, Diptheria). They left behind orphaned children.
His daughter, Susan Bledsoe, resided with her son, Jacob Bledsoe, in the area of her brothers.
Jacob Bledsoe was apparently born out of wedlock, born when his mother was age 15.
