Tim was born on August 31, 1951 in Manitowoc. He was the first born son of the late Keith and Marcella Schlais Vetting. Tim was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1969. He furthered his education graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Stout in 1974. Tim then went on to receive a Master’s Degree from Cardinal Stritch University in 1993. Tim was employed as a Human Resources Specialist most of his working career, most recently in Longview, Texas. In March of 1980 he married Jeannine Pederson in Manitowoc. Tim was a lifelong musician, motorcycle enthusiast, alpine skier and golfer. Tim lived life to the fullest.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law: Janeen and John Stolz, Prairie du Sac; one niece and four nephews, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Keith and Marcella Vetting; his loving wife: Jeannine; two brothers: Tommy in infancy and John Vetting.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 8100 Brunner Road, Newton. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Beaudry. Burial of the cremains will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
