Jerome Stanley Limanowski was born at Roseland Community Hospital in Chicago, Il on November 22, 1955. Jerry was the fourth child of Anne Marie and Ben Limanowski. Attended Marist High School in Chicago then Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park class of 1973. Jerry went on to study at Southern Illinois University and Northeastern Illinois University.

Jerry was a loyal son who helped care for his parents, especially when his Father became ill. Jerry was a protective brother to his sisters and would show interest and concern for both his sisters and his brothers. Close to several of his Aunts and Uncles, Jerry would enjoy engaging them in conversations about football, politics or current events. Jerry was very intelligent but quite often misunderstood. The absolute joy and love of his life was his son.

Jerry's headstone reads "Life's Weird Luke" (Missing a comma after weird). This is a quote taken from the TV show, Dukes of Hazzard. Jerry and his son would often say this quote to each other, in jest.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Rest in Peace, Jerry.
