NORA S. HOLST

Mrs. Nora Holst, 75, of 319 Jackson St., Mishicot, widow of Hugo Holst, with
whom she was associated in the operation of the former A. Holst & Sons Dept.
Store at Mishicot for many years, died early Monday morning at Memorial Hospital,
Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Mishicot, the Rev. Herbert Kesting officiating. Burial will be in Mishicot
Public Cemetery.
Mrs. Holst, nee Nora Stehn was born Nov. 4, 1895, at Two Rivers, a daughter of
the late Ira and Josephine Wilsmann Stehn. She was married at St. Peter church
at Mishicot to Hugo Holst June 23, 1919. She served as assistant cashier at the
Mishicot branch of the Two Rivers Savings Bank for a number of years after the
mercantile business of the Holst firm was sold in 1963. Her husband preceded her
in death in November of 1967. She was a member of St. Peter congregation and its
Ladies' Bible Hour.
Surviving is a brother, Randoph F. Stehn, of Manitowoc. A twin brother preceded
her in death.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, after 3 p.m. Tuesday until
noon Wednesday when the casket will be taken to the church where the body will
lie in state until the time of services.
