THERESIA HRONEK
Mrs. Theresa Hronek, 89, of Rt. 1, Mishicot, near Fischerville, died
early Saturday morning at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Lambert Funeral Home,
Mishicot, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, the
Rev. Anthony Betley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hronek, nee Theresa Peroutka, was born in the Town of Kossuth
Oct. 17, 1877, a daughter of the late Wenzel and Theresa Wanek Peroutka.
She was married Nov. 27, 1899, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis
Creek, to Peter Hronek. After the marriage they settled on a farm near
Fischerville, where she had resided since. Her husband died in July of
1951. She was a member of Holy Cross Altar Society.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Elsie) Eber of Manitowoc,
Mrs. Agnes Rhein and Mrs. William (Frances) Ray, both of Mishicot, and
Mrs. Irwin (Lillian) Huehnerfuss of Wausau; two sons, Emil of Wausau
and Adolph Hronek, on the home farm; eight grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where the Altar
Society Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. and the Parish Rosary at
8 p.m.
