PETER HRONEK
Peter Hronek, 77, of Mishicot, died Friday morning at Holy Family Hospital,
Manitowoc, following a stroke. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday
at the Specht Funeral Home in Mishicot and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic
Church, Mishicot. The Rev. George Beth will officiate with burial in the
church cemetery.
Mr. Hronek was born in 1873 in the Town of Kossuth and operated a farm in the
Town of Gibson before moving to the village of Mishicot 46 years ago. He was
a retired mason. In 1899 he married Theresa Proutka. Survivors are the wife,
four daughters, Mrs. Clarence Eber of Manitowoc; Mrs. Agnes Rhein of route 1,
Mishicot; Mrs. William Ray Jr., of Mishicot and Mrs. Lillian Jannusch of
Wausau; two sons, Emil of Wausau and Adolph on the home farm; two brothers,
Joseph of route 2, Two Rivers and Frank of Wausau; sister, Mrs. Kate Kunz of
Kossuth, seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Specht Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday and the rosary
will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
