Mrs. Ann E. Barbour was born in Diswood March 2, 1891. She was the daughter of John H. and Elzeta White Hargis. She married Richard Barbour in Peoria March 14, 1948 and he survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lewis (Verlie) Bowker of Chillicothe and three brothers, Tapley Hargis of Foristell, MO, and Amos and Cletus Hargis, both of Cape Girardeau, MO. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
