MOUNT VERNON — James L. "Jim" Mickley, 54, of Mount Vernon, passed away June 6, 2016, at his residence.

He was born April 7, 1962, in Mount Vernon, to the late Kenneth and Ruby (Hubbell) Mickley.

Jim was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge.

Jim is survived by his son, Mason Mickley of Mount Vernon; his sisters, Diane (Larry) Carver of Florida, Jenny (Jack) Neibarger and Kathy (Brett) Marble both of Mount Vernon; his brothers, Dennis (Mae) Mickley, Kevin (Donna) Mickley both of Mount Vernon; stepmother, Naomi Mickley; stepbrother, Ken (Andrea) Belcher of Mount Vernon; lifetime companion and mother of Mason, Kim Minder of Mount Vernon; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and close friend, Nancy Burch of Mount Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Timothy Mickley.

The family will observe a private graveside service in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
