Mrs. Fred Karl, 60, of Rt. 1, Mishicot, died Tuesday at Two Rivers
Municipal Hospital following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Lambert Funeral Home,
Mishicot, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church. The Rev. Anthony
Betley will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Karl, nee Christine Nesper, was born March 26, 1908, at Whitelaw,
a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Oswald Nesper. She attended
Reedsville High School and was married to Fred Karl June 29, 1940, at
St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Shortly after their marriage
they settled on a farm in the Town of Gibson. She was a member of Holy
Cross Catholic Church and its altar society and the Happy Home Homemakers
Club.
Survivors include her husband, a son, at home, a brother, and four sisters
(names omitted for privacy).
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where the Altar
Society Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. and the parish Rosary at 8 p.m.
