The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Welcome Home Baptist Church, Airville. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta.
Mrs. Lane was born Aug. 23, 1913, in Greenbriar County, W.Va. She was the daughter of the late James W. and Betty (Looney) Boothe.
She retired from Danskin Inc. Prior to that, she was a nurse's aide at Pleasant Acres for many years. She was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lane is survived by six sons, James Lane and Glenn Lane, both of York, Ronald Lane and Richard Lane, both of Airville, Ray Lane of Red Lion and Roy Lane of Fawn Grove; three daughters, Edna Pepler of York, Rose Haugh of Glen Rock, and Rachel Sarti of Airville; a stepson, Silas Lane of Darlington, Md.; a stepdaughter, Mary Ellen Lewis of Edgewood, Md.; 46 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Boothe of Delta; and three sisters, Elizabeth Lane of York, Nina Baldwin of Brogue and Imogene Dean of Dupont, Wash. Mrs. Lane was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lane; and five stepsons, John Lane, Joseph Lane, Henry Lane, Calvin Lane and Alfred Lane.
Officiating at the service will be Elder Ralph Evans. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 2997 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion 17356.
