Bessie Lee Wilson, 78, of Sheridan, Ark., went to walk with God and be at peace in Paradise Oct. 21, 2006, having lived the last several years heroically fighting the effects of Parkinsons.

Her life was one filled with the simple joys of life and love of family and friends. She firmly followed the teachings of her Lord and Savior and was the true embodiment of kindness and love. Bessie enjoyed life to the absolute fullest.

Bessie was an active member of the Grace Sunday School Class at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, of which she was a charter member. Her spirit could not be daunted. She showed us how love will always win, and in the end, how it will always endure. Bessie's love and legacy live on in the hearts of us all.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Eloise Wilson and Margaret Scott.
