The Rev. Darrell L. Stude ran with endurance the race that was set before him. He unto Jesus, the author and finisher of his faith. He leaves a legacy of love and compassion to all those he encountered. He was such a blessing to everyone that some thought he hung the moon, but the truth is he didn't; he just knew the One who did.
Darrell was born Dec. 25, 1940, in Alamosa, Colo. He had served the Lord in many aspects of ministry for over 30 years. He retired from National Federation of Independent Business in January 2006, only to devote all his time to ministry. Darrell was an ordained minister and served as pastor of Faith Christian Fellowship of North Texas. He also served as the chaplain coordinator for the White Settlement Police Department.
