From the Files of the Pilot - Twenty-Five Years ago (1890)
George Jindra of the Town of Mishicot was killed on Friday last near Kingsbridge while on his way home from the city. The team evidently had run away as they were found near a fence with the wagon pole out of the neck yoke. Jindra had fallen forward and his neck was literally pounded into a pulp by the blow of the wheel spokes.
