Rites Are Held For Mrs. Bridges
Funeral At Concord For Former Resident Who Died At Montevallo
Funeral services were held at Concord church this afternoon for Mrs. Exie Ora Bridges, 63, former resident of Madison county, who died yesterday morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J. K. Cunningham, Montevallo.
Mrs. Bridges moved to Montevallo from this county about 21 years ago.
Rites were held at 2 o'clock with the Rev. J. A. Rodgers officiating. Interment was made in Concord cemetery with Laughlin-Service in charge of arrangements.
In addition to Mrs. Cunningham, the survivors include another daughter, Miss Elda Ora Bridges, Gadsden; five sons, Russell M. Bridges, Birmingham, Milton L. Bridges, Calera, John W. and Granville M. Bridges, Miami, and James L. Bridges, Oklahoma; five sisters, Mrs. Lou Ella Davis, Mrs. W. H. Miller, Mrs. Emma Tanner and Mrs. Cyrus Sides, Birmingham, and Mrs. Edd Hall, New Market; one brother, Theo Jones, Bessemer.
Pallbearers included Robert and lloyd Miller, Knox, J. L. Brooks and Carl Davis.
