Mrs. Pinson was a retired hairdresser and seamstress. She loved kids and never turned anyone away whether it was to eat or give them a place to stay for the night. You were always welcome in her home and she was known to many as "Granny".
She is preceded in death by husband, Wallace D. Pinson; parents, Ponto and Pearl Adams Smith; brothers, Bob Smith and Blenard Smith; sisters, Elean Dobbs, Doris Lance, Pat Gillisipie and Linda Bradshaw; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2PM from the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home with burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery.
