Philip Thomas Nastasi, a retired sales representative in steamship and trucking transportation, died on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 7:25 PM at Canon Hospice. He was 80. Mr. Nastasi was born in New Orleans, lived in Arabi until Hurricane Katrina and has since resided in Luling, LA. A U S Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Beloved husband of the late June Demarest Nastasi. Father of Phyllis N. Michon (Vic), Susan N. Mallory, Eva N. Maynard (Darrell), and Tricia N. Borne (Jim). Brother of Mary Lou Malinosky and the late Eugene, Jack, and Joseph Nastasi. Son of the late Jennie Lacey Nastasi and Joseph A. Nastasi, Sr. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Private services were held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 West Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA.
