Prairietown--Henry Dubbelde, 84 years old, a retired farmer, died Sunday at 1:50 p.m. at his residence.
Son of John and Catherine Kuethe Dubbelde, he was born Feb. 15, 1881 at Mt. Olive. He married Minnie Dustmann on April 23, 1911 at Prairietown.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Lawrence of Stanford; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Louise) Schaefer of Prairietown and Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Rideout of St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Julia) Meyer of Prairietown and Mrs. Kathryn Funderburk of St. Louis; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, one granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters.
Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday from St. Peter's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Otto Horstman officiating. Burial will be in Prairietown Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Williamson Funeral Home, Staunton, from 2 p.m. Tuesday until Wednesday noon.
