HOLTHOUSER - Lawrence E. "Lonnie," age 60, of Louisville, passed away Monday, October 30, 2006 at Loyola University Hospital in Chicago. He was a retired Registered Nurse at Audubon Hospital, and a member and Cantor at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He was also a member of the MBS Men's Club, a Fourth Degree Knight in the MSGR Newman K of C, G I Joe American Legion Post 224, Iroquois Hill Post 6182 VFW, and both a Navy and Marine Medic in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles T. Holthouser. He is survived by his mother, Mary Kathleen Holthouser; a brother, Thomas Holthouser; sisters, Vinda Harned (Stanley), Kathy L. Strothman, Wanda S. Tivnan, Janet C. Elam (David) and Fay Marie Whitted (James); and 17 nieces and nephews. The funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. on Monday at his church, 3509 Taylor Blvd., with burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, KY. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-8 p.m. Sunday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7330 Southside Dr. Memorials may go to his church.
