ELKHART - Marjorie L. Monk, 81, of 53771 Montrose Park Drive, died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 9,2004) in Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 10,1923, in Elkhart, to Fred
and Edith (Berg) Glanders. She married
Raymond W. Monk on June 27,1942, in Elkhart. He died in 1979.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcia Campbell of Elkhart, three grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Leona Kilmer of Goshen.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Monk; two brothers, Fred and Robert Glanders; and a sister, Edith Gripe.
Friends may call two hours prior to Friday's noon services at Hartzler-Gutermuth-lnman Funeral Home, 403 W. Franklin St., Elkhart. The Rev. Richard Dunn will officiate. Burial will be at Chapel of Peace Mausoleum in Rice Cemetery.
Mrs. Monk worked in the plant at Miles Laboratories for more than 30 years.
Memorials can be directed to the American Heart Association or United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
