Bonnie Gertrude Yost, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, was born May 15, 1921 to Harold McKinley Jackson and Olive Parks in Knob Fork, WV; went to be with her Lord June 9, 2016 in Arlington, TX.
Her infections laugh and sense of humor will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Bonnie was the most perfect mother to her three sons. With her hands always full as a former president of the PTA she never missed any of their sporting events or after school activities. She was said to be an old fashion "miracle worker" that had all the home remedies, mixtures, cures, and treatments, which came in handy with her active sons. Bonnie was an independent hard working woman that stood up for her-self. She was an avid voice for those that resided at Arbrook Plaza in Arlington, as an Active Resident Council Member on the Board of Directors.
Bonnie was preceded in death by: her parents, Harold and Olive Jackson; husband, of 56 years, Jack L. Yost Sr.; and son, Jack L. Yost Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory: sister, Leora McMullen; sons, Jerry L. Yost and wife Dianne of Greenfield, Indiana, Greg Dean Yost and wife Eileen of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Jodi Yost of Mansfield, Texas; grandchildren, Christi Roberts and husband Jim; Scott Yost and wife Crystal, Nancy Blevins and husband Chris, Kelly Turley, Bryan Turley, Marla Yost, Paul Yost, Katie Yost, Michelle McCarthy; and 9 great grandchildren.
