Mrs. Dorothy E. Brady, 90, of 1211 Longwood Dr., LaPorte, died Friday, February 27, 2004, at 7:25 a.m. at the LaPorte Hospital.
She was born June 1, 1913, in LaPorte, IN., to Otto and Minnie (Vanslow) Rotzean, and had lived in this area most of her life.
Mrs. Brady was a teller at the First National Bank for 30 years and retired in 1973. She was a member of the LaPorte Presbyterian Church.
On August 20, 1943, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, she married Robert S. Brady who preceded her in death on January 27, 1995.
Also preceded in death were her parents, and one sister, Evelyn Rotzean.
Surviving are one son, Lee (Vicki) Brady of LaPorte; and two granddaughters, Courtney Brady and Whitney Brady both of Chicago, IL.
The funeral will be Monday March 1, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Rev. Louis W. Schumm officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
