We have found out , with the help of Darlene that Mary is buried next to her parents but she does not have a headstone. She was the last one buried there of that family. Thanks Darlene for the help.

Dies, Services on Thursday

A four-year period of declining health brought death to Miss Mary D. Legate, 77, about 10:30 last night. Miss Legate died in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hicks 829 Berlyn avenue, where she had resided for the past four years.
Miss Legate, born in Belvidere township Sept. 11, 1869, had been a resident of Belvidere for the past 60 years. She followed the occupation of dressmaker here for the past 50 years and was known to a wide circle of friends in the area.
A daughter of Mason and Martha Legate she resided on the home farm in Belvidere township's rural schools.
She attended the First Baptist church here.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Atkins-Johnson funeral home, the last rites to be conducted by the Rev. J. G. Whiten, former pastor of the First Baptist church. Burial will be in Belvidere cemetery.
Surviving Miss Legate is the sister, Mrs. Charles Hicks, with whom she most recently made her home, and several nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Mrs. Alice Doolittle and Mrs. Sylvia Doolittle and Mrs. Ida Tofflemiere.
Friends may call at the funeral home after Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.Mary was three years old when her father died.
