She was a sister of Mrs. Maggie Jordan and Marion Sellers, both of Aspermont.
She died Thursday, May 30, at 11:30 p.m. in Holliday Lodge in Hamlin. She had been a resident of Hamlin for five months. Prior to that she lived in Aspermont and O'Brien.
Mrs. Rivers was born July 8, 1883, in Bell County, Texas. She was married to Jessie Rivers in 1898. He preceded her in death in 1917. She was a member of the Pinkerton Baptist Church.
Survivors include four brothers, G. E. Sellers and Roy Sellers, both of Rule, W. J. "Doc" Sellers of O'Brien, and Marion of Aspermont; and one sister, Mrs. Jordan of Aspermont.
