Robert C. Brinkman, 78, of Ft. Mitchell, died at 7:35 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South. He was a retired employee of Heileman Jewelers, Cincinnati, and a member of Latonia Baptist Church, where he formerly was an assistant Sunday school superintendent. He was the former president of the Weekday School of Religion. He was an avid golfer.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Mae Brinkman ; a son, Dr. Bruce Brinkman of Marietta, Ga.; daughters, Brenda McKenney of Edgewood and Beth Fortune of Roswell, Ga.; sisters, Ruth Tomlin of Covington and Virginia Ferris of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Visitation will be 5 to 8 tonight and 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Floral Hills cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to the Book of Remembrance or the Library Fund at Latonia Baptist Church.
