Sweetwater - Funeral for Mrs. Luteenie Beck, 69, will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Patterson-McCoy Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Carl Watson of Abilene and the Rev. Darris Egger of First United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mrs. Beck died Saturday in Simmons Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born April 5, 1901 in Hopkins County, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. E. Deal of Los Alamos, N.M., and Mrs. Jack Miller of Memphis, Tenn.; four sons, Medford A. McCoy of Lafayette, La., Miniford McCoy of Los Angeles, Calif., Merkel A. McCoy of Amarillo and Melvin McCoy of Sweetwater; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Gowers and Mrs. Lonnie Hopper, both of Lubbock, Mrs. Donnie Weldon of Graham and Mrs. Luteshie Walson of Muleshoe; seven brothers, Johnny, Henry and Arthur Bass, all of Lubbock, Melvin Bass of Midland, Jessie Bass of Austin, Jimmy Bass of Littlefield, and Harvey Bass of Muleshoe; five step-sons and five step-daughters; 23 grandchildren.
