Mrs. Dressler's Rites Set Today

Sweetwater - Funeral for Mrs. Ethel Dressler, 73, a resident here over 50 years, was to be held at 4 p.m. Friday in Patterson Chapel of Memories. The Rev. W. G. Perdue, pastor of First Baptist Church, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Garden of Memories.

Mrs. Dressler died at 3:10 a.m. Thursday in Simmons Memorial Hospital.

Born October 21, 1895 in [Dermott] Scurry County [to Frank and Ida (Ware) Aucutt], she married August Dressler on February 23, 1916 in Roscoe.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Nelson of Sweetwater and W. M. of Midland; a sister, Mrs. Etta Barton of Alpine; a brother, John Aucutt of Venice, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were to be Wilton Hayes, J. D. Shackelford, Paul Sheppard, R. L. King, C. D. Brooks and J. W. Wise.
