Vivian Lillian Kirk Ogden passed into eternity on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Roosevelt Care Center, Old Bridge. She was 98.Born in Elizabeth, she resided in East Brunswick since 1952.
Mrs. Ogden was a member of Old Bridge Baptist Church in East Brunswick, where she served for many years, leading a youth group, teaching Sunday School, directing VBS, and working with Pioneer Girls.
She was predeceased by her husband William in 1975, her daughter Virginia in 2005, and her sister, Jean Shiflet in 2016.
Surviving are her daughter Patricia Cosgrove and her husband Leonard of East Brunswick; her son William Ogden and his wife, Laura, of Fort Mill, SC; her sister Audrey Collins of Weeki Wachee, FL; eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 6/17, at 10:00 AM in The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
