Services were at 2 p.m. Monday from First Baptist Church in Alvord with burial in Alvord Cemetery under direction of Rhyne Funeral Home.
Survivors include his widow, Elsie; a step daughter, Ellise; two sons, Herbie and Tommy; his mother, Mrs. J.R. Adcock of Alvord; six sisters, Mrs. R.C. Douglas, Mrs. B. Gray and Mrs. Harry Caywood, all of California, Mrs. T.J. Petty of Fort Worth, Mrs. M.A. Pritchett of Dallas and Mrs. George Tuttle of Arlington; one brother, L.E. of Conroe.
