Mrs. Mary Kronforst, 89, of Larrabee, Rt. 1, Maribel, died Thursday
afternoon at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital. Funeral services will be
at 10 a.m. Monday at Lambert Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy
Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. The Rev. Earl Brouchard will
officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Kronforst,
nee Mary Karbon, was born Oct. 24, 1884, in the Town of Kossuth,
daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth Hrdina Karbon. She was
married to Frank Kronforst at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Reif
Mills. He preceded her in death in 1928. She was a member of Holy
Cross Catholic Church and its Altar Society. Survivors include two
sons, Alvin of Mishicot and Roman of Larrabee; a brother, John Karbon
of Denmark; a sister, Mrs. Adolph (Elizabeth) Cherney, of Manitowoc;
seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A son Lester, six
brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Friends may call at
Lambert Funeral Home after 3 p.m., Sunday, where a memorial service
will be held at 7:30 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. by
the Altar Society.
