JOSEPH KRONFORST
Joseph Kronforst, 77, retired farmer, died Saturday night at his home
in the village of Mishicot. He had been ill the past two years.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Specht funeral
home, Mishicot, and at 10 o’clock at the Holy Cross Catholic church, the
Rev. George Beth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Kronforst was born in Kossuth in 1870 and in 1895 married Miss Christine
Seidl. They located on a farm in Kossuth. In 1920 they moved to Mishicot.
He was employed by the county for a nine-year period.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Paschal Brouchoud of Mishicot
and Mrs. Daniel Fencil of Two Rivers; brother, William, of Two Rivers; and
nine grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home where the rosary will be recited
at 8 o’clock tonight.
